A few weeks ago, Jeannie Grates posted she was heading to this iconic place in the UP - the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I casually asked her to get me some fudge, and she graciously did so. It’s been 40+ years since I had Murdick's Famous Fudge and it is just as awesome as I remember it. 𝙾𝚙𝚎, 𝚘𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚏𝚞𝚍𝚐𝚒𝚎𝚜 ♡ Took a ferry to Mackinac Island, rented some bikes, & 16 miles later we had explored Mission Point, Arch Rock, Fort Mackinac, Sugar Loaf Rock, Skull Cave, the Grand Hotel, British Landing, and everything in between. Then, we obviously had to enjoy some Mackinac Island fudge, ice cream, and taffy (yes, all 3). Later, we had a delicious anniversary dinner at the 1852 Grill Room overlooking the harbor 😍 Woke up on the island to a low key morning walking the beach, eating breakfast at the cute Watercolor Cafe, & hanging out in Mackinac Island State Park! #mackinacisland #mackinacislandfudge #archrock #skullcave #fortmackinac #missionpoint #sugarloafrock #highlightreel
