Iroquois Hotel on the Beach

The Iroquois Hotel is located on the water's edge, with a stunning view of the Straits of Mackinac, where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron meet. There is no bad view . . . whether you are facing the water, the garden or panoramic street, it is all delightful. The Hotel Iroquois is located at the end of the main street, close enough to all of the action to be convenient, but with its "end of the block" location it is set apart enough to have that private feeling. The charm of another era is reflected in every room, with attention to comfort. Last, but certainly not least as noted in Gourmet magazine, is the dining to be found in the Carriage House restaurant. Personally, our favorite is the hot fudge ice cream puff dessert - save room for this!
